This book is about the relationship between a hard-working mother and a teenage girl called Claire. They hardly ever see each other because when Claire comes home from school, her mother has gone to work at the hospital, so they leave each other notes on the fridge door. One day they discover the mother has breast cancer.
If you want to know what happens, you'll have to read it. It is fantastic, I am sure you'll enjoy it
