I would like to reccomend the "Uglies" series by Scott Westerfeld. There are three books in the series: Uglies, Pretties and Specials. They are about a girl called Tally who lives in a future world. Along the series she is forced to make important decissions and choose between friendship and popularity. ARM 8Z
